June 7th - On the train ALL day (stops at Zhengzhou/郑州 3:51AM, Xian/西安 9:37AM, Lanzhou/兰州 16:04/4:04PM, Xining/西宁 18:52/6:52PM)
June 8th- On the train almost all day (stops at Golmud/格尔木 4:21AM, Nagqu/那曲 13:49/1:49PM, Lhasa/拉萨 18:30/6:30PM). Go from the train station to The Barkhor Namchen House (located behind Jokhang Temple) 30 yuan a night for three nights =90yuan per person. Stretch our legs around town, get a bite to eat and scout out destinations for our first full day in Lhasa before bed.
June 9th- Catch the #1 or 2 bus to Norbu Lingka (aka the Summer Palace) opens at 9am 70 yuan per person. Grab lunch on the 2 km walk to Potala Palace (aka the Winter Palace) re-opens at 2pm 100yuan per person. Stroll down Bakhor street/any place that intreuges us, find dinner and head back to The Barkhor Namchen House for a thrilling of evening of rest.
June 10th- If we must go to Jokhang Temple this would be the day to do it (70 yuan always open). OR if you prefer symmetry in your sightseeing we can focus on the “three principal monasteries” which include Sera Thekchen-ling (30yuan open 9-4), Dreprung (45yuan Bus #3, 301, or 302), and Ganden* (after the trek* 30yuan)....and perhaps wandering the streets of Lhasa to find some fabulous hand made Tibetan paper before heading back to The Barkhor Namchen House for the last time.
June 11th- We will be driving to Ganden before camping outside of Drupshi. Lhasa-Gaden monastery-drive to Drupshi town(Camping near the village) (?)
June 12th- Trek -Drupshi- Foot of shugla pass(Camping (5000m)
June 13th- Trek - Shugla pass- Nomad area (Camping (4500m)
June 14th- Trek - Nomad area to Taktse village and our driver will pick up you from Taktse village and drive to Lhasa. (Staying in Lhasa again?)
June 15th- Lhasa-Yamdrok Lake-Gyantse (one of the holiest lakes in Tibet) (Camping ?)
June 16th- Gyantse-Shigatse (two of the most famous monasteries in Tibet) (hostel ?- Jianzang hotel, phone# )

June 18th- Everest Base Camp-Old Tingri (drive along the Himalaya to Old Tingri)
June 19th- Old Tingri-Nepal border at Zhangmu
